The Journey of a thousand miles...

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." -Lao-tzu, The Way of Lao-tzu. Chinese philosopher (604 BC - 531 BC) (thanks to google.com)
So, here I am, starting the blog that I've actually been building in my mind the last several months. Actually, years, as I have felt the tug on my heart to write to Christian Working Women. Of course, for many years, I've listened to the other voice in my head that says it will be difficult, impossible. But a book starts as a line on a page...so here I go...
Jesus told us, "33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." -Matthew 6:33-34 (thanks to biblegateway.com)
So, one step at a time, one day at a time, I'm choosing to begin to share my heart, (always writing in my head), and hopefully, God's heart living in me (as I talk with Him throughout the day, and He shares insight into how everyday occurrences are full of the grace of God and serve as object lessons to learn more about who He is).
My blog at this point is twofold. I'm also an avid scrapbooker and card maker. This will be the lighter side of this blog and I will try to share what I discover about the craft and use this blog to help journal this journey as well. I am hoping my love for paper crafting, art and writing will intertwine by God's design with time. Have a blessed week.
